Raimon Panikkar<\/strong>, priest and philosopher, died last August 26th at the age of 91, in his home in Tavertet.<\/p>

His passing was a great loss felt by all those who had shared part of the earthly journey that he dedicated wholly to the quest for the Source, in which his spirit now rests.<\/p>

On August 29th, 2010 his funeral was held, small and intimate and according to the Christian rite, at the church of Tavertet, in the cemetery where half of his ashes now rest.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On his grave a memorial stone signifies the transformation of time.<\/p>

On January 13th, 2011 the other half of his ashes were scattered over the River Ganges at Varanasi, according to the Hindu rite.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
