First international edition 2022
For seven young scholars of the philosophy and works of the renowned Hindu-Catalan philosopher-theologian and promoter of intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
The prize will be awarded for original, unpublished studies on the thought and works of Raimon Panikkar, written in one of the languages in which his Opera Omnia is published.
The Prize includes:
• Publication of the study
• A copy of the complete set of Raimon Panikkar’s Opera Omnia
• A cash prize of 3,000 euros
The seven prizes are instituted by Fundació Vivarium Raimon Panikkar in collaboration with the publishing houses of the respective language:
• Italian – Editoriale Jaca Book, Milan, Italy
• Catalan – Fragmenta Editorial, Barcelona, Spain
• Spanish – Herder Editorial, Barcelona, Spain
• French – Les Éditions du Cerf, Paris, France
• English – Orbis Books, Maryknoll York, NY, USA
• English (in India) – Motilal Banarsidass Publishers, New Delhi, India
